The Marriage Encounter (ME) weekend is for any married couple (who have received the Sacrament of Matrimony) who love each other and are open to the possibility of growth in their marriage.
The Engaged Encounter (EE) weekend is for couples preparing for marriage who wish to deepen their relationship and build a solid foundation for their future life together.
Marriage Encounter Ireland is part of the Worldwide Marriage Encounter movement which is active in over 90 countries. It seeks to offer Matrimonial couples a new and enriched vision for their marriage through the experience of Marriage Encounter and Engaged Encounter weekends. Over 2.5 million couples have attended weekends since the movement started in 1962.
